The treat in this latte is the delicious taste of chocolate, toffee and almond from Brown & Haley’s iconic Almond Roca candy. The trick is the salty kick from Torani’s Salted Caramel Syrup that brings together the classic combination of salty & sweet! Add your favourite salty & sweet toppings for the perfect halloween touch. Try this recipe completely sugar free – both Torani Syrups used in this latte are available in classic and sugar free (sweetened with splenda!)
Trick or Treat Candy Latte Recipe (try it sugar free!)
1/2 oz. (1 pump) Torani Almond Roca Syrup (sugar free option available!)
1/2 oz. (1 pump) Torani Salted Caramel Syrup (sugar free option available!)
6 oz. Frothed Milk
2 shots of espresso (or 4 oz. extra bold k-cup – such as Barrie House Espresso Roast)*
Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream, Sweet & Salty Toppings (optional)
1. Add Torani Sauce and Syrup to 6 oz. warmed milk and froth them together (an electric/battery powered milk Frother can be used)
2. Brew 2 shots espresso or 4 oz. Barrie House Espresso Roast into a tall heat-resistant glass/mug.
3. Add frothed milk & syrup mixture into the coffee and stir, then spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over the beverage.
4. Optional: Add whipped cream, drizzle with Caramel Sauce, and add caramel candies & salty toppings!
For an extra tasty treat, toast the marshmallow topping by brewing this in an oven safe mug and torching the marshmallow with a creme brûlée torch!
*A note: We like using Barrie House coffee in our single serve brewer lattes because there is more coffee per capsule, making a more concentrated, bold brew. If you are making this recipe with a single serve brewer, you can swap out Barrie House for 4 oz. of your favourite single serve coffee – bold & extra bold roasts work best!
